Anne Morrison

Anne Morrison currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel at Essex Property Trust, a position held since August 2013. Prior roles at Essex include Acting General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Vice President. Prior to joining Essex, Anne worked as a Commercial Litigation Attorney at Nixon Peabody from November 2011 to August 2013, and as a Litigation Attorney at Luce Forward from 2006 to November 2011. Anne's legal expertise focuses on commercial and residential real estate litigation, covering areas such as contract claims, landlord/tenant disputes, eminent domain, easement disputes, and construction defect litigation. Anne obtained a law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
