Paul C. is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in project management and fundraising. Currently serving as a Fundraising Assistant at Essex Wildlife Trust since August 2025, Paul collaborates with project teams to identify funding needs and prepare grant applications. Previously, as a Project Portfolio Manager at the Care Quality Commission from April 2022 to October 2025, Paul led a team of 35 to implement a new risk management system across multiple business units, significantly improving the organization's risk culture. Paul spent nearly two decades at Lloyds Banking Group, holding multiple senior project management positions across various divisions, including Motor Finance, Business Banking, Marketing, and Offshore & Wealth, where key achievements included enhancing customer insight systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading successful initiatives for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Paul holds an MBA and an MA in Classical and Ancient Studies from The Open University, as well as a BA in Economics and Political Science from The University of Manchester.
