Melis Olcay

Melis Olcay is a Process Engineer at EssilorLuxottica since September 2022, specializing in the commissioning of new machinery and production monitoring, ensuring compatibility with process parameters and reporting key performance indicators. Previously, Melis worked at Volkswagen AG as a Master Thesis Student, focusing on predicting gasoline fuel blends through machine learning, and also held a position as a Research Development Process Development Intern, where predictive models for fuel properties were developed. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research and Development Patent Engineer at Bosch Turkey, conducting state-of-the-art searches for new ideas. Melis earned a Master's degree in Production Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Middle East Technical University. Additionally, Melis completed an English language course at EF Language Abroad.
