Ricardo Gaibor

Ricardo Gaibor serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Wearables at EssilorLuxottica since June 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing global go-to-market strategies and consumer electronics channels. Previously, Ricardo held senior roles at Samsung Electronics America from November 2016 to September 2021, including Vice President and General Manager, focusing on national retail and sales operations for mobile devices. With an extensive background in the telecommunications and technology sectors, Ricardo's experience also includes leadership positions at HTC, Brightstar Corp., Sony Mobile Communications, and Ericsson, covering various regions in Latin America and the Caribbean. Ricardo holds an Advanced Leadership Course from London Business School and a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
