Maria Andersson

Maria Andersson currently serves as the Group Risk & Insurance Officer at Essity since May 2017, having previously held a short-term role in Group Risk Management at SCA in the same month. Prior to this, Maria worked at Mercer from July 2007 to May 2017, where responsibilities included project leadership for Global Benefits Management, conducting Global Benefit Audits, and managing client and provider relationships. Additional roles at Mercer encompassed Benefits Consultant, Insurance Advisor, and M&A coordinator. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Pension and Insurance Consultant at Max Matthiessen, and a back office and customer service role at Länsförsäkringar. Maria holds a Master's degree in Business from the Stockholm School of Economics and has attended several educational institutions, including Uppsala University and the University of Alberta.
