Merkel Alexander

Merkel Alexander holds a degree in Maschinenbau from the University of Stuttgart. With extensive experience in the consumer tissue sector, Merkel currently serves as the Product Assortment Director for Consumer Tissue Europe at Essity since October 2016, and previously held the position of Product Development Director for CT Iberia. Prior to Essity, Merkel worked at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company from October 2007 to September 2016, where roles included Product Development Director for CT DACH & BNL and Site Manager. Earlier career experience at Procter & Gamble, spanning from 1992 to September 2007, encompassed various product supply functions such as Process Engineer, Project Manager, and Operations Manager.
