Sergiy Melnychuk

Sergiy Melnychuk is an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing and operations management. Currently serving as the Director and Plant Manager for Personal Care EU & NA at Essity since April 2017, Sergiy has previously held various leadership positions, including Director of Senior Manufacturing Excellence and Production Unit Manager within the same company. Prior to Essity, Sergiy worked at Procter & Gamble from February 2007 to September 2023, where responsibilities included Operations Manager and Plant IWS Leader. Earlier in the career, Sergiy was a Junior Researcher at the State Scientific Institution "Institute for Single Crystals" NAS of Ukraine, contributing to the development of technology for producing plastic scintillators for the CERN "OPERA" project. Sergiy holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Kharkiv State Polytechnic University, earned between 1994 and 2000.
