Our Founder & Managing Member is a seasoned attorney and chief executive officer who focuses on health information technology, digital health, general technology, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), as well as corporate and transactional law. He has 27 years of experience as General Counsel and Concierge General Counsel for electronic health record (EHR) companies in general medicine and behavioral health. He has closed over $2B in private capital, IPO, M&A and licensing transactions. As VP, General Counsel, Secretary & Chief Privacy Officer, he guided an EHR software company from start-up through IPO on the New York Stock Exchange to a public-to-private exit. He excels in deal closure having closed more than 6,000 software license agreements (from small to more than $80m) and conflict resolution (resolved multi-million dollar matters out of court).

He has represented technology companies and private equity investors in emerging technologies, digital health, and health information technology (HIT), such as EHR, mobile health (mHealth), AI/ML for internet security and other specialized applications, lab business management solutions (LBMS), and other digital health and HIT applications, such as patient engagement, diagnostic testing, population health management, behavioral health & human services, wearable devices, remote patient monitoring (RPM), digital front door & triaging, secure messaging & data exchange, patient outcomes & quality metrics, physician utilization, revenue cycle management (RCM), payor services, Medicaid benefit waiver and ICF/IID services, legacy data migration & archiving, data center and cloud services, chronic care management (CCM), patient adherence, B2C health services, and virtual care, including telehealth, telemedicine, teleneurology, telehealth in chronic disease, and tele-ICU.
