Richard Zamora P.e.

Richard Zamora, P.E. serves as the Director of Geotechnical Services at WSB since December 2022. Previously, Richard Zamora held various roles at the Colorado Department of Transportation from July 1998 to December 2022, culminating in the position of Region 2 Transportation Director, where leadership was provided to a team of around 400 employees to manage transportation projects in southeastern Colorado. Richard Zamora also led multi-disciplinary teams focusing on program delivery, project management, and statewide policies, overseeing substantial budgets and project scopes. Prior experience includes roles at the Federal Highway Administration and a solid educational foundation in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
