Grettel Chavarría

Grettel Chavarría has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and supplier management. Grettel is currently working as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at Establishment Labs, starting in September 2022. Before that, they worked at ICU Medical as a Supplier Quality Engineer from August 2021 to September 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing relationships with suppliers and implementing quality monitoring. Grettel successfully improved the trend of quality events through timely feedback and root cause analysis. Prior to ICU Medical, Grettel served as a Quality Assurance Manager at Inversiones Oridama S.A. from June 2020 to August 2021. Grettel led various areas including Quality Assurance, Validations, Regulatory, Quality Control, and Occupational Safety. Grettel played a key role in improving processes related to pharmaceutical scraps and supplier qualification. Grettel also successfully led the preparation and intervention of quality system requirements for the audit, resulting in no findings and the renewal of certifications. Throughout their career, Grettel has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Grettel Chavarría obtained a Master's degree in MSC. Modern Manufacturing System from Tecnológico de Costa Rica, spanning from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Laboratorist at Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), although the specific start and end years for this educational program were not provided.
