Thiago Souza

Thiago Souza has an extensive work experience in the technology field. Thiago started their career as a Developer at HP in 2004. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a System Analyst at Tata Group, where they gained experience in various technologies such as Java, J2EE, .Net, Hibernate, and SQL Server.

In 2008, Thiago joined Claro Brasil as a Tech Lead. After two years, they moved to ESTADÃO, one of the largest newspapers in Brazil, where they held several roles. Thiago began as an IT Project Manager, leading the integration of the SAP System with the company's digital channels. Thiago then became an IT Manager, overseeing major technology projects like the implementation of CMS ARC XP and migration to the Google Cloud Platform. Currently, they serve as the Technology and Data Director at ESTADÃO, responsible for areas including technology, data science, analytics, AI, support, infrastructure, and UX design.

Thiago's work experience shows their ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and implement innovative solutions across different organizations and industries.

Thiago Souza has a diverse educational background. Thiago studied Physics at USP - Universidade de São Paulo and Philosophy at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo. Thiago then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields, including COBIT 5 from ISACA, ITIL Foundation - IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner, PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute, PSPO and Scrum Master from Scrum.org, and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) from Sun Microsystems.
