EVP, Global Communications & Public Affairs at The Estée Lauder Companies

Meridith Webster has been working in public affairs for over a decade. Meridith started their career as a Special Assistant to the President & Chief of Staff for the Domestic Policy Council in the Obama administration. From there, they went on to become the Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Bloomberg LP, where they worked on the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition team's national security and energy and environment policy working groups. In 2015, they were promoted to Global Head of Public Affairs for Bloomberg Philanthropies & Bloomberg LP, where they led the Public Affairs practice for Emerson Collective. In 2018, they joined Vox Media, Inc. as their Chief Communications Officer (CCO), and they are currently the EVP, Global Communications & Public Affairs at The Estée Lauder Companies.

Meridith Webster pursued a Juris Doctorate at Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English at UC Santa Barbara.

Meridith Webster reports to Fabrizio Freda, President & CEO. They work with Deirdre Stanley - EVP, General Counsel, Jane Lauder - EVP, Enterprise Marketing & Chief Data Officer, and Michelle Freyre - Global Brand President, Clinique.
