Chris Hughes

Chris Hughes founded Estendio in November 2014 and has served as the CEO since then. Chris is currently a Non Executive Director at Dyslexia Scotland since January 2022. From July 2020 to May 2022, Chris was the Chair of the Neurodiversity in Digital Technology Group and a member of the Digital Economy Group at Skills Development Scotland. Chris worked as an Entrepreneurial Ambassador and Guest Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde from June 2018 to August 2021 and from March 2017 to May 2021 respectively. Chris also served as an Advisor at The Cross Party Group for Dyslexia in The Scottish Government from March 2016 to May 2017. Lastly, they worked as a Business Clinic Consultant at Strathclyde Business School from October 2016 to March 2017.

Chris Hughes attended the University of Strathclyde from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business. In 2018, they studied at The University of Edinburgh for a year, focusing on the School of Informatics in the EIE program. From 2018 to 2019, they also enrolled in the iGap program at Strathclyde Business School. Additionally, in 2015-2016, Hughes participated in the Scottish Enterprise High Growth - Start Global Programme offered by Scottish Enterprise. Hughes also completed their high school education at the High School of Dundee in 2014. Currently, they are pursuing further education at Scale Up Scotland from 2021 to 2023, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided.
