Michelle Byrnes

Michelle Byrnes has a strong finance and accounting background with experience spanning over three decades. Michelle began their career as a Finance Analyst at Ford Australia in 1986, where they worked for over 22 years. Afterward, they joined H&R Block Australia as a Tax Agent, providing tax-related services for individuals and businesses. Michelle then transitioned into a role as Business Manager at Custom Industries, where they served for three years. Michelle then moved on to Power Partners Aust, working in accounting for almost a year. Currently, Michelle is the Financial Controller at EstimateOne, responsible for managing the finance function and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and value for the company.

Michelle Byrnes has a diverse education history. Michelle obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business & Finance from Deakin University in 2020. Prior to that, Michelle earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from Deakin University between 1996 and 1999. Michelle also holds a Certificate of Applied Science in Applied Science from the same institution, which they obtained in 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Michelle received a certification as a 6Sigma Green Belt from Ford Australia in January 2002. This certification likely provided their with specialized training in process improvement methodologies.

Before their time at Deakin University, Michelle attended RMIT University from 1982 to 1984, where they studied Business & Accounting.
