Raigo Uukkivi

Raigo Uukkivi, PhD, is an experienced leader currently serving as the Director General of Maksu- ja Tolliamet (Estonian Tax and Customs Board) since December 2021. In addition to this role, Uukkivi is a member of the Supervisory Board for multiple organizations including the University of Tartu Foundation, Eesti Kultuurkapital, e-Residency, Tehvandi Sports Center, and the Estonian Chess Federation. Uukkivi has held various supervisory board positions, notably with Port of Tallinn and Eesti Energia, and has extensive experience in governmental roles, having served as Deputy Secretary General at the Estonian Ministry of Finance. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Transport and Logistics, an MA in Accounting and Finance with a specialization in Corporate Finance, and a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching, among other degrees from prominent institutions.
