Mahdi Dibaiee

Mahdi Dibaiee has a strong background in software engineering and platform development. Mahdi most recently worked at Estuary from March 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Estuary Flow using Rust and Golang. Their responsibilities included working on data streaming pipelines, transformations, distributed systems, and databases.

Prior to that, Mahdi worked at Personio from January 2021 to February 2022. In their role as a Platform Engineer, they were part of the Developer Experience team, streamlining the development process for other engineers. Mahdi also led a project to create a generic Sharing functionality using a microservice architecture and worked on analytics and reporting solutions.

Before joining Personio, Mahdi worked at AYLIEN from January 2017 to December 2020. Mahdi held several roles, including Data Software Engineer and Platform Engineer. In these positions, they worked on a highly scalable data platform, integrated applications with ELK stack for logging and monitoring, and consolidated and re-organized infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts on GCP.

Additionally, Mahdi worked as a Technical Consultant at LogicKit from January 2019 to June 2019. Mahdi helped design the application for scalability and mentored the team during their initial phase.

Mahdi Dibaiee completed their Master's degree in Cognitive Science from University College Dublin in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Science and Culture, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Mahdi has also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed the "Problem Solving (Intermediate)" certification from HackerRank. In September 2022, they obtained the certification in "Global Diplomacy - Diplomacy in the Modern World" from the University of London through Coursera. In October 2022, they completed the "Politics and Economics of International Energy" certification on Coursera. Most recently, in April 2023, they obtained the "OWASP Top 10" certification from Wizer - Free Security Awareness Training.
