Jani Tuomi

Jani Tuomi is a seasoned entrepreneur and advisor with extensive experience in healthcare and technology sectors. As the Co-Founder and CEO of imaware™, Jani established a $10M direct-to-consumer business focused on early disease detection through home testing, later pivoting to support COVID testing efforts. Currently, Jani co-leads Matchday Health, a platform designed to assist job seekers in healthcare, and serves as a Startup Advisor for various organizations including Esya Labs and Keyspan. Jani also contributes to Techstars as a Startup Mentor, helping early-stage founders, and has previously co-founded Coya Therapeutics, which went public in 2022. Jani's career includes leadership roles in product management education and digital enterprise at BrainStation and Konrad Group, respectively, as well as project management at Vale. Jani holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo.
