James W. Shumway

AngloGold Ashanti North America where she served as Senior Corporate Counsel. Immediately prior to joining AngloGold, Meghan was a tax and business associate at the Denver law firm of Engel & Reiman pc. Meghan is a proud alumni of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she studied Political Science and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree while playing varsity volleyball for CU. Meghan earned her JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her Masters of Laws in Taxation from the Daniels College of Business. A Colorado native Meghan grew up in the Denver area and enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

Chief Financial Officer

James W. Shumway is the Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer of ET Investments, LLC. Jim came to ET Investments from United General Title Insurance Company, where he served as Vice President and Controller. At United General, Jim played a significant role in overseeing and improving day-to-day operations of its Finance and Accounting Department, including A/R, A/P, GAAP, Statutory, and financial analysis. Jim worked closely with United General’s Legal Department to help improve its claims database. Jim worked with United General’s field management staff on budgeting, forecasting, and planning. Before joining United General, Jim served as Vice President in charge of administrative functions of a privately-held, Las Vegas-based company with roughly $50 million in annual revenues, where he was responsible for supervising its accounting, human resource, collection, and IT departments. Jim received his BS degree from Southern Utah University and his MBA from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
