Antony Wilks

Antony Wilks has over 30 years of work experience in the field of engineering and electronics. Antony currently holds the position of Lead Firmware Engineer at ETA Green Power Ltd, where they started in May 2021. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, Antony worked at Gardasoft Vision as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.

Before that, Antony worked at Bosch Lawn & Garden Ltd as a Senior Mechatronic Engineer from 2014 to 2018. Their responsibilities included the development of new products and concepts, sensor development, circuit design, firmware development, and PLC programming, among others.

From 2008 to 2014, Antony worked at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, where they held the positions of Product Engineer and later Chief Electronic Engineer. Antony was responsible for the design, development, and mass production ramp of laser receivers and line lasers, as well as managing the electronic team and handling network administration and data security.

Prior to that, Antony worked at RoboToolz as the Chief Electronic Engineer from 2000 to 2007, where they were involved in the design, development, and mass production of line lasers and laser range finders.

Antony's career began at Kolinker Industrial Equipments Ltd in 1994, where they worked as a Senior Electronic Engineer involved in the design and development of industrial manufacturing equipment, as well as firmware and software development.

Before entering the engineering field, Antony worked part-time as an Electronic Technician at Videotronics from 1984 to 1994, where their responsibilities included the maintenance, repair, and installation of audiovisual equipment.

Antony Wilks pursued their education from 1989 to 1994 at Rhodes University. During this time, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science.
