Kristján Guðmundsson

Kristján Guðmundsson is a seasoned expert in mechanical engineering and energy optimization with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Seglar ehf and a Board Member at both Sonomicro Labs ehf and eTactica, Kristján's previous management positions include CEO and Chief Technology Officer at eTactica, where innovative systems for real-time electricity flow measurement were developed. Kristján has also contributed as a Board Member for the Federation of Icelandic Startup Companies and held sales consulting roles at DELMIA Quintiq. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech, along with a Bachelor's Degree from Háskóli Íslands.
