Carl Desiato

Carl DeSiato started their work experience in 1994 as an Accountant at Mahoning County Auditor. Carl held this position until 2003. In 2004, they became the CFO at Etactics, Inc., and in 2005, they assumed the same role at Open Practice Solutions.

Carl DeSiato earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a major in Accounting from Youngstown State University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, Carl obtained various certifications in cybersecurity awareness, fraud, waste, and abuse training, HIPAA breach training, ransomware prevention, sexual harassment awareness training (both general and for managers), HIPAA privacy rule certification, HIPAA security rule certification, malware prevention, and password management. These certifications were obtained from Etactics between March 2023 and July 2023. Additionally, in November 2020, Carl completed an onboarding program with Avalara University focused on streamlined sales tax.
