Gabriele Maraschin

Gabriele Maraschin is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in project development and business management. Currently serving as Director at Etana Energy since January 2023, Gabriele has also held a significant position at H1 Holdings (Pty) Ltd since 2016. Gabriele previously directed the development of a multi-gigawatt pipeline across various technologies in sub-Saharan Africa while leading the Africa division at Building Energy S.p.A. from 2012 to 2016. Earlier roles include Business Developer for Renewable Energy at Enel Green Power and short-term asset management at Enel from 2008 to 2010, alongside experience in business development within the electrical transmission and distribution sectors in several African countries at Rousant International. Gabriele holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
