James Dickie

James Dickie has gained extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. James started their career in 1994 as a Research Engineer at British Gas R&D before moving on to positions as a Software Engineer at Loughborough Sound Images and Blue Wave Systems. In 1999, they worked as a Consultant Engineer at Wind River and then transitioned to become a Field Application Engineer at LiveDevices in 2001. From 2003 to the present moment, James has been with ETAS, where they have held roles such as Senior Product Manager and Sales Manager. Currently, they serve as the UK Sales Director for ETAS. James' expertise lies in embedded software tools for automotive electronic control units, particularly real-time operating systems supporting industry standards like OSEK/VDX and AUTOSAR.

James Dickie earned a Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2006-2007. In 2001, they obtained a Diploma in Project Management from The Open University. Prior to that, they completed a Ph.D. in Digital Signal Processing at the University of Strathclyde from 1991 to 1994, following a Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the same university from 1987 to 1991.
