ETC: Educational Theatre Company
Maya Andersen is currently a research assistant at the Dodson Cognition Lab and for Dr. Lora Henderson Smith under the Youth-Nex program at the University of Virginia. In addition, Maya serves as a Student Engagement Council Member at The Fralin Museum of Art and as a film camp counselor with the Educational Theatre Company. Experience includes tutoring English at Ringle, choreographing productions for UVA First Year Players, and holding the position of Publicity Chair. Maya is pursuing a degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia, expected to graduate in May 2025, and is a graduate of Bishop Ireton High School.

Educational Theatre Company (ETC) is a 501(c)3 arts education organization that has offered process-driven theatre arts programming for students ages 3 -103 since 1998. All programming is based on ETC’s four pillars: Creativity, Confidence, Collaboration, and Community. The mission of ETC is to unlock the potential of children and adults through immersion in theatre arts.
