Syed Huq

Syed Huq is an accomplished ASIC Technical Program Manager currently working at Etched since August 2025, focusing on developing the fastest GenAI Transformer inference solution. Prior experience includes serving as an ASIC/HW Program Manager at Nokia from October 2017 to August 2025, where various monolithic and 2.5D designs were managed. Syed held the position of Technical Program Manager (Hardware) at Juniper Networks from April 2016 to October 2017, overseeing multiple parallel programs across the Switching, Routing, and Security product lines. As Sr. Hardware Engineering Manager at Ruckus Wireless (December 2014 - February 2016) and Microsoft (November 2011 - September 2014), responsibilities included product testing, validation, and the development of the next generation Xbox One. Previous roles at Cisco Systems Inc and National Semiconductor involved hardware engineering management and ASIC/FPGA solutions development. Syed holds an MBA in Management/Finance from Golden Gate University, a Certificate in Telecommunication from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
