Marie de Laet

Marie De Laet is a corporate EHS manager and industrial hygienist at Etex since October 2019, where responsibilities include contributing to a safe and sustainable environment for employees and communities through various initiatives such as occupational exposure assessments and hazardous materials management, covering regions across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Prior to Etex, Marie worked as an environmental health and safety generalist at ERM from February 2015 to October 2019, providing EHS compliance and support across multiple industries, and as a PhD computational biology research fellow at F.R.S - FNRS from October 2010 to February 2015, focusing on structural biology and bioinformatics. Education includes a Master in Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bioengineering from Université libre de Bruxelles.
