Rolf van Rompaey

Rolf Van Rompaey is an experienced legal and public affairs professional with a diverse background in law and project management. Currently serving as Head of Public Affairs and Head of Group Intellectual Property at Etex since June 2010, Rolf has also held roles including Project Management Officer and Senior Legal Counsel within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Colruyt Group and Senior Associate at Allen & Overy, where Rolf focused on litigation and contracts. Additional secondments and internships in legal counsel roles spanned several organizations, including Alpha Trains and EDF Luminus. Rolf's education comprises advanced programs in leadership and management from INSEAD and Vlerick Business School, as well as a master's degree in law from KU Leuven, supplemented by an Erasmus year in European law at the University of Strasbourg.
