Josh Russell

Josh Russell, PhD, CFA, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Trading at ETF Architect, Josh specializes in launching and managing ETFs. Prior roles include Portfolio Manager at Carson Group, where Josh managed $1.7 billion across approximately 14,000 accounts, and VP - Senior Research Analyst at Franklin Templeton, focusing on integrating ESG data with investment strategies. Previous experience includes roles at WisdomTree Asset Management and Sabrient Systems, where Josh created proprietary indexes and developed quantitative rankings. Josh holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, along with multiple advanced degrees from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
