Sam Masucci

Sam Masucci is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Exchange Traded Managers Group. Sam has over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, and has been instrumental in the success of several companies.

Masucci began their career at MacroMarkets LLC, where they served as Managing Partner and Co-founder. Sam was responsible for sourcing capital investments, obtaining regulatory approvals, and listing new products on exchanges. Sam also coordinated sales and trading activities with securities dealers, distributors, and exchanges. Under their leadership, the company raised $1.5 billion in assets within fifteen months and obtained two domestic and nine international patents.

In 2003, Masucci left MacroMarkets to co-found GENCAP Ventures, LLC. Sam served as a managing partner at the firm for eight years. During their tenure, they arranged $60 million in seed capital for new products and engaged authorized participants to support product creation and redemptions. Sam also created and managed a FINRA-regulated broker dealer for the wholesale distribution of ETF products.

In 2011, Masucci founded the Exchange Traded Managers Group. The company provides innovative solutions for active asset managers to launch and operate ETFs. ETF Managers Group has grown rapidly under Masucci's leadership, and now has over $20 billion in assets under management.
