Tony Hodgson serves as the CEO and Managing Principal of ETHAR, Inc., leading a global team focused on augmented reality technology commercialization since January 2015. In addition to this role, Tony founded and moderates the Tennessee Valley Mixed Reality Meetup, and acts as Development Director for the SIGNALS Museum, which showcases the history of information technology. Tony's previous experience includes key positions at Synapse Wireless, Verizon, CAP5 Technology Solutions, Houston Technology Center, MCI, and TerraSpace, with a strong emphasis on business development and strategic alliances in technology and engineering sectors. Tony holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, and has completed coursework for an MS in Mechanical Engineering at Rice University.
