Mitesh Athia

Mitesh Athia has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mitesh is currently a Senior Software Engineer II at Ethena, where they serve as the architect of frontend systems and is responsible for the development and maintenance of code standards. Mitesh also contributes to fullstack feature development. Prior to this role, Mitesh worked as a Senior Software Engineer I at Ethena.

Before joining Ethena, Mitesh co-founded The Dental Opinion in 2019 and worked as a Co-Founder until January 2021. Mitesh also gained experience as a Frontend Developer at Gubagoo from March 2018 to February 2019.

In 2016, Mitesh had multiple roles at GALE Partners, starting as a Jr. Full Stack Developer from August 2016 to January 2017, and later advancing to become a Full Stack Developer from January 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Jr. Full Stack Developer at CareerJSM from April 2016 to July 2016.

Mitesh's earliest work experience was as a Dentist at Greenstone Dental, where they worked for a year from July 2014 to July 2015.

Mitesh Athia completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Waterloo, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2014. In 2016, Mitesh enrolled in Lighthouse Labs for a brief period to specialize in Full Stack Web Development.
