Guillaume Ballet

Guillaume Ballet is a core developer at Ethereum since 2017, focusing on the maintenance and enhancement of the Go Ethereum client, with specific contributions to WASM smart contract support and scalability improvements. Previously, Guillaume served as CTO at nakamo.to and held various roles, including freelance senior software engineer at Fyber, tech lead at Alugha GmbH, and lead software developer at Carmeq GmbH, specializing in geographic data analytics. Additional freelance positions included senior software engineer at HERE and embedded software engineer at Intel Corporation. Earlier in the career, Guillaume worked at TomTom and SAGEM, developing software for map teams and IP-TV middleware, respectively. Educationally, Guillaume holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics from Centrale Nantes and completed preparatory classes at Classes préparatoires Aux Lazaristes.
