Jake Adams

Jake Adams is an experienced educator and visual artist with a focus on 2D and 3D asset creation for interactive art and games. Currently serving as a lecturer, visiting lecturer, and adjunct professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2020, Jake also founded VALHOLO, a company specializing in interactive art and emerging technologies, including virtual reality and holographic content. As a freelance 3D artist and game designer for Ethereum, projects include the development of assets for the Sandbox platform. Jake operates a private studio, Jake Adams Studios, which creates a range of artworks and interactive installations and is currently merging with VALHOLO. Previous positions include customer service team lead at CoverWallet and various roles in art handling and assistance. Jake holds an MSc in Design & Digital Media from The University of Edinburgh, and a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, complemented by additional studies in architecture. Awards received include Best in Show from both Carnegie Hall and Hotel Edison for artistic contributions.
