My curiosity about innovative technologies and open source keeps me in a constant state of learning. After a PhD and a postdoc in applied machine learning I switched to a more settled lifestyle and worked in technical lead roles for enterprise software product companies over the last 15 years. In the last three years with the architectural responsibility to move a comprehensive insurance software product to a container based platform. While reading "Mastering Bitcoin" in 2016 I got hooked on blockchain technologies and then concentrated on Ethereum. One year later I met Christoph at his talk "Reinventing Insurance" in Zurich. The potential to completely automatize and decentralize many forms of insurances felt very compelling and I started to loosely follow Etherisc on Twitter. Begin able today to work with the creative minds of Etherisc and its community and to contribute to a more open and transparent world makes me feel both happy and excited!
