Fieldston Assistant Football Coach Offensive Line/defensive Line at Ethical Culture Fieldston School

Dan Pena is an accomplished educator and coach with extensive experience in physical education and athletics. Since February 2016, Dan has served as the Founder of U1Sports and has held multiple roles at the Stephen Gaynor School, including Physical Education Teacher and Associate Afterschool Director since August 2016. Dan has also been a Fieldston Assistant Football Coach and Physical Education Teacher at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School since July 2011, alongside directing the Fieldston Sports Camp's football program. Dan's coaching experience extends to previous roles such as Defensive Line Coach at Columbia University in June 2016 and various positions at The Mandell School, including Physical Education Teacher and Extended Day Coordinator from September 2011 to September 2015. Dan was Director of Athletics at Camp Watitoh in the summer of 2014 and played for Syracuse University's football team from August 2006 to May 2009. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Canisius University.

For over 130 years the Ethical Culture Fieldston School has been committed to excellence in education as it seeks to develop the intellectual, artistic and moral potential of its students. ECFS serves approximately 1,700 students and 325 faculty and staff in four divisions; Ethical Culture, Fieldston Lower, Fieldston Middle, and Fieldston Upper. Ethical Culture is located in midtown Manhattan on Central Park West, in a six-story, turn-of-the-century school building; the other divisions share an 18-acre campus in the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
