Kara Guizar

Kara Guizar currently serves as the Manager of After School & Auxiliary Programs at Ethical Culture Fieldston School, overseeing daily operations and long-term planning while aligning with the school's mission. Prior roles include Associate Teacher at The Hewitt School, where engaging lessons and social-emotional learning were prioritized, and Afterschool Site Director at Walla Walla Public Schools, where Kara managed out-of-school programs for over 400 elementary students. As a Programs Intern at the Partnership for After School Education, administrative support and electronic marketing initiatives were key responsibilities. Kara's earlier experience in the legal field as a Paralegal and Administrative Assistant honed skills in communication, organization, and client relations. Educated with a Master of Public Administration from The City College of New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington, Kara combines educational expertise with a strong administrative background.
