Jori Armbruster has held a variety of roles in the business world since 2001. In 2003, they were an interim manager for Guanajuato Coffee Estate, where they supervised field works and managed more than 400 employees. From 2006 to 2011, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Thisa, where they developed a work-family conciliation policy and negotiated the acquisition of another company. In 2011, they became a member of the board of Grup TAINCO, where they negotiated the buying of the company. In 2016, they were the Breaking Ideas Manager for Soleitor, where they initiated a Blockchain based self sovereign data project. From 2017 to 2021, they were the CEO and co-founder of EthicHub, where they helped smallholder farmers in developing countries join the global economy. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder of Cryptocafe by Ethichub, where they helped engage with communities in the crypto and impact space.

Jori Armbruster's education history includes a MasterYourself degree from TEAMLABS/ in innovación y emprendimiento from 2016 to 2017, a PDD Dirección y Gestión Empresas Distribución degree from Esade from 2007 to 2008, and a Gestión Comercial y Marketing degree from ESIC Business & Marketing School from 1999 to 2004.
