Metasebia Tsegaye

Metasebia Tsegaye is a dedicated human rights professional with extensive experience in civil and political rights. Currently serving as a Human Rights Officer at the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission since March 2022, Metasebia has held significant roles including Project Manager at BLIP-investors Association and Corporate Lawyer at ethio telecom. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney at Mekonnen Law Office and as an Assistant Lecturer at Dire Dawa University. Metasebia holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Human Rights from Addis Ababa University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Dire Dawa University.
