Yordanos Bahru

Yordanos Bahru has extensive experience in social work and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as Partner Relationship Manager at LEWEQESH and a Human Rights Officer focused on Disability and Older Person's Rights at the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission since 2021, Yordanos also works as an Independent Social Worker for Children and Families Across Borders, where responsibilities include administering parenting, visibility, and kinship assessments. Previously, Yordanos held positions as an Awareness Raising and Community Mobilization Officer at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from 2019 to 2021, and as Project Coordinator at the Addis Hiwot Center of the Blind from 2018 to 2019. Yordanos holds a Bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Gondar.
