Gibran Washington has a diverse and extensive work experience across various industries. Gibran is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Ethos Cannabis since August 2023. Prior to this, Gibran held the role of Vice President of Retail Wholesale and Supply Chain at Ethos Cannabis from September 2022 to August 2023.
Before joining Ethos Cannabis, Gibran worked at Purple Square Management Co. as the Vice President of Operations from August 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business and implementing strategies for growth and stability during the pandemic. Gibran managed over 100 QSR businesses across multiple states and had a workforce of over 1,500 employees.
Gibran also held positions at SodexoMAGIC, where they worked as a Regional District Manager from June 2019 to August 2020, and as a Regional Operations Manager East from June 2018 to July 2019. In these roles, they handled financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Additionally, they supported operations through program dissemination, training, and implementing best practices.
At Tinsley Family Concessions, Gibran served as the Sr. Director of Operations from July 2015 to November 2017. Gibran managed multiple restaurants and establishments, ensuring a positive customer experience, enforcing policies, and building strong business relationships. Prior to this, Gibran worked as the Managing Partner TGIFridays from September 2009 to June 2015 and as the Director of Operations from April 2007 to August 2009. In these roles, they focused on optimizing operations, increasing revenue, and managing a large number of employees.
Gibran Washington has a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Hofstra University.
