Laura Heeger

Laura Heeger currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Ethos and as a Guest Lecturer at UConn School of Law, where topics on compliance are taught to JD, LLM, and MBA candidates. Additionally, Laura is a Senior Advisor at Endaoment, focusing on donor-advised funds and charitable giving involving cryptocurrency assets. Previous roles include serving on the Board of Directors for both Prudential Japan Holdings LLC and The Gibraltar Life Insurance Co., Ltd., where oversight of risk management and compliance was paramount. At Prudential Financial, Laura held multiple senior positions including Chief Compliance Officer for Prudential International, leading global compliance programs and risk management efforts. Prior to that, Laura served as Senior Vice President of Global Ethics & Compliance at MetLife, overseeing operations in over 40 countries, and was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney's Office. Laura earned a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colby College.
