Emily Castillo León

Emily Castillo León has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. Emily is currently working as the Associate Vice President of Schools at redefinED atlanta. Prior to this, Emily founded and served as the Executive Director of Ethos Classical. Emily also worked at Teach For America, where they held the position of Director of Talent Recruitment and later became the Director of Teacher Leadership Development. Emily was a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools, where they received comprehensive training in urban charter school creation and leadership. Emily also worked as the Founding Assistant Principal at KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School. Before that, Emily worked at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as the Lead English II Teacher. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to educational reform and has gained extensive experience in instructional leadership and talent development.

Emily Castillo León attended Wake Forest University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications.
