George Ray

George Ray is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as a member of the Airframe team for project Acanthis at Knights Experimental Rocketry since August 2021, George contributes to CAD design, manufacturing, and integration efforts with other teams. Additionally, George holds the position of Treasurer, managing budgets and procurement for rocket projects. As the Chief Executive Officer of Ra.geor, a business initiated in 2014, George has expanded operations from an eBay store to multiple online platforms, achieving over $80k in sales last year with a high customer satisfaction rating. Previous experience includes an internship at Spirit AeroSystems, where George analyzed operational efficiencies, and a role at Energy Care Technologies LLC., focusing on e-commerce development. Early work experience involved maintaining facility standards as a Gym/Pool Attendant at Doral Park Country Club.
