Elisa Murenu

Elisa Murenu is currently working at Ethris as a Senior Scientist Bioanalytics since May 2023. Prior to joining Ethris, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at LMU Klinikum München from April 2021 to May 2023. Before that, they held the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher at Kubota Vision Inc, Sirion Biotech GmbH, and LMU from March 2018 to April 2021. Elisa also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from December 2016 to February 2018. Earlier in their career, Elisa worked as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at UniTrento CIBIO from January 2010 to January 2011 and at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche from October 2009 to December 2009.

Elisa Murenu's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at the Università di Pisa and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Biodiversity, with a curriculum in Neurobiology. Elisa completed their Bachelor's degree in 2007. Following that, from 2007 to 2009, Elisa pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Neurobiology at the same university.

In 2011, Elisa embarked on a PhD program, specializing in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Elisa completed their doctorate in 2016 from two institutions: IMPRS-LS | International Max Planck Research School for Molecular Life Sciences and the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences at LMU Munich.

In addition to their formal education, Elisa has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they acquired a certification in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) from GMP Kurs. In 2020, they completed a certification in Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials from Coursera. Elisa also obtained a certification in R Programming A-Z™ from Udemy in 2022. Elisa'smost recent certification, obtained in 2023, is in Data Science Orientation from IBM.
