Nigel Tomkinson

Nigel Tomkinson has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and research. Nigel currently holds the position of Executive Director of Clinical Operations at ethris GmbH, a role they have held since July 2022. Previously, Nigel worked at ProQR Therapeutics NV, where they served as Director of Clinical Operations from January 2019 to June 2022 and as a Clinical Trial Manager from August 2015 to December 2018. Before that, they worked at SynteractHCR, where they held various roles including Clinical Project Manager from November 2012 to July 2015, Senior Clinical Research Associate from August 2011 to November 2012, and Clinical Research Associate from January 2009 to July 2011. Nigel also has experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at ZNA from February 2007 to January 2009 and at AZ Monica from January 2006 to January 2007. Nigel began their career in the healthcare industry as a Clinical Trial Nurse at Johnson & Johnson from September 2003 to January 2009.

Nigel Tomkinson pursued their education in the field of nursing. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Hogeschool Antwerpen where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Hospital Nursing. Following this, from 2003 to 2004, Nigel attended Belgium Jobs where they specialized in Emergency and Intensive Care as a Nurse Specialist.
