Alistair McWhannell

Alistair McWhannell is an experienced HR professional currently serving as Acting SVP HR at Etihad Airways since May 2017. Prior to this role, Alistair held various positions within the Etihad Aviation Group, including Vice President of People Reward & Policy and HR Group Corporate Functions from December 2013 to May 2017, and Vice President of People Reward and Policy from October 2009 to December 2013. Alistair's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of HR for Retail and Commercial Banking at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Head of Reward at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where responsibilities spanned from Head of Executive Reward to Head of Reward for the Ulster Bank Group and RBS Group Central Functions. Alistair is an alumnus of George Watsons College in Edinburgh.
