Christoph Schwarz

Christoph Schwarz has a diverse work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Christoph currently holds the position of Commercial Director Freight at Etihad Rail since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at duisport - Duisburger Hafen AG, where they served as the Head of Intermodal Strategy from September 2022 to September 2023 and as a Member of the Executive Board of Duisport Agency GmbH from March 2020 to September 2022. From January 2021 to September 2022, they were the Executive Director at DistriRail. Additionally, they have worked as the Director Intermodal Europe at TX Logistik AG from June 2018 to March 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Stena Line and Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG, including Freight Manager and Manager of North European Transport & German Baltic Sea Ports.

Christoph Schwarz completed their education in two stages. From 2006 to 2008, they studied at Kombiverkehr KG and earned a degree as a Kaufmann für Speditions und Logistikdienstleistungen. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they attended the Bundesverband der Speditionen Hessen (BSH) / IHK and obtained a Bachelor Professional (CCI) degree in Transport Management and Operations (Verkehrsfachwirt) with a specialization in Logistik.
