Himansu S Panda is an experienced Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) specialist with a career spanning over two decades in various prominent projects across the Middle East and India. Currently serving as an AFC Specialist at Etihad Rail since December 2022, Himansu has previously held key positions including Senior AFC Expert for Pune Metro Line 3 at AECOM India Private Limited, and Lead AFC Engineer for the Cairo Monorail project with Bombardier Transportation. Professional expertise encompasses significant roles in the AFC systems of major metro projects such as Doha Metro, Nagpur Metro, and Kochi Metro, as well as project management positions for the Bangalore and Delhi Metros. Himansu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Utkal University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management from Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune.
