Ilham El Guessabi

Ilham El Guessabi currently serves as Senior Legal & Compliance Counsel at Etihad Rail, starting in October 2024. Previously, Ilham held the position of Legal Officer at the Arab Monetary Fund in January 2024 and worked at Marsh McLennan from January 2019 to January 2023 as Regional Legal & Compliance Officer/MLRO for the MENA region, in addition to roles as Compliance Analyst and Compliance Consultant. A brief tenure at Wall Street Exchange as a Legal Expert occurred in mid-2019, following experience at STA Law Firm in corporate and litigation legal capacities. Ilham holds a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from Cardiff University and a Master of Laws in International Business Law from Middlesex University Dubai, with a dissertation focusing on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing frameworks.
