Stephen Bennett serves as the Director of Transport Planning & Market Intelligence at Etihad Rail since October 2021, previously holding the role of Head of Transport Planning at Integrated Transport Centre - ITC Abu Dhabi from September 2012 to October 2021. As a Consultant Transport Modeller at ITC, Stephen developed the STEAM+ Modelling Framework. Stephen's earlier experience includes roles as Principal Engineer and Team Leader at MOUCHEL plc from October 2005 to September 2012, Transport Planning Engineer at Capita Symonds from April 2004 to October 2005, Software Developer at S2 Software Solutions Ltd from January 2002 to April 2004, and System Engineer at Lockheed Martin from August 2000 to January 2002. Stephen holds an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University, an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Edinburgh Napier University, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics and Complexity Science from the University of Warwick.
